What Does Shampoo Have to do with Life?

Not much, right?  Well, the last few weeks have shown us that the launch of Nama – including Nama shampoo – is very much about life.  Our recent experiences working with Nama’s retail partners, distributors, sales people and individual consumers confirmed a premise on which we created Nama – that people want companies, organizations and “work” in general to be more positive, constructive and energizing to one’s life.   “Work” and “business” should not be dreaded, stressful experiences of daily grind.  It strikes us that companies that honestly try to create a higher quality environment for all its stakeholders (employees, suppliers, customers, consumers, etc etc) will find enormous pools of talent and resources available to them.   These resources, and the positive and super-productive environment we create, become a tremendous competitive advantage.   In the case of Nama, we see one of our most important competitive advantages is our positive human spirit as expressed by namaste and yoga.   Yes, this notion of being open, authentic and positive actually creates a higher quality of life for all who come in contact with us AND a powerful competitive advantage versus the enormous companies with whom we compete.    So, how does Nama “win” versus the Goliaths of our industry?   By making Nama – including our shampoo – all about a providing a better life for everyone involved.    We will have more to say on this….much more.  After all, it means a lot to us!   Have a great day!
